Our Covid-19 Policy Our Covid protocols are intended to promote the health and safety of our community. As of July 1, 2023, masking has become optional but is encouraged at all our events. In addition, a Covid vaccination and booster are not required, although they are recommended. Attendees of our events must:
Contact Tracing at All attendees are required to agree to the contact tracing policy in order to attend an event sponsored by The Living Tradition. Signing in at the front desk upon arrival will serve as agreement to this policy, and contact information provided by the attendee signing in will be used to enact this policy. This document will be available at events sponsored by The Living Tradition, at the front desk. Anyone who becomes ill with symptoms of Covid-19 and tests positive for COVID-19 within 1 week following an event sponsored by The Living Tradition must notify the event organizer via text or email within 24 hours of receiving the positive result. The event coordinator will then initiate contact tracing so other participants can be warned of possible exposure to COVID-19. The event organizer for each event can be reached via contact@thelivingtradition.org. We strongly encourage attendees to get tested if they exhibit symptoms of Covid-19 within 2 weeks following an event sponsored by The Living Tradition. Contact Tracing Policy Declarations In order to attend an event sponsored by The Living Tradition, attendees must agree to the following statements: If I show symptoms of Covid-19 within 1 week following an event sponsored by The Living Tradition, I understand it is recommended for me to get tested for Covid-19. If I test positive for Covid-19 within 1 week following an event sponsored by The Living Tradition, I will notify the event organizer via text or email within 24 hours of receiving the positive result, so that other participants can be notified. The Living Tradition organizers will take the following steps if an attendee tests positive for Covid-19: The Organizer of the relevant event sponsored by The Living Tradition will be responsible for contacting or arranging contact of all participants within 24 hours of being notified that an attendee has tested positive. This will be done using the pre-registration contact information provided by participants. A positive test result from an attendee does not necessarily mean that the attendee contracted Covid-19 at the event, but it does indicate that person may have been infectious even while asymptotic. Other attendees should be aware of the possibility of this so they can take precautions. Click here to view our contact tracing policy (PDF).
Waivers All attendees are required to sign both a COVID-19 waiver and a general liability waiver in order to attend an event sponsored by The Living Tradition. Signing in at the front desk upon arrival serves as signatures on these waivers. These documents will be available an event sponsored by The Living Tradition, at the front desk.
