Contra Dances

Our contra dances (plus potluck and music jam) are held on the 4th Saturday of most months at the Anaheim Downtown Community Center, 250 E. Center St., in Anaheim (in the heart of Orange County).  Free parking

Recommended Donations

Unless otherwise noted: $10 per person; $8 for Anaheim residents, Living Tradition members, seniors, and full-time studentsChildren under 18 FREE with paid adult. 

We request a $2 donation per person attending the jam.

                               instruments & join in!
7:10 PM                 Contra dance introduction lesson

                               Clean-up.  Volunteers welcome!

Please feel free to bring snacks to share at our potluck break.

Oct. 26, 2019    Halloween Contra Dance

Costume contest with prizes!

Parking might be tight in the lot on the east side of the Anaheim Downtown Community Center building.  Additional free parking is available in the Center Street Parking Garage (235 E Center St.), which is north of (across the street from) the venue.  Enter the parking structure from Center St.

Depending on when you arrive at the dance on Oct. 26, traffic on Anaheim Blvd. south of Lincoln Ave. might be congested.  Access to the Downtown Community Center should always be possible from Olive St., which intersects Center St. a block east of the venue.
